What's the maximum amount of times you can renew a book at the library?

This is if no one puts it on hold.|||Each library system sets its own rules. Here, you get three weeks at check-out and can renew once for another three weeks. Often it's not long enough for a huge book, but if there are no holds, the librarians will check it in and check it right back out to you.|||I believe all libraries have their own "rules" for this. I know our local library lets you renew (2) times, but another library in another county lets you do it more. Check out your local libraries website (if they have one) or give them a call.|||Depends on the library. Ours is 2 times. Our old library was 3.|||As others have said, it depends on the library. My local lets you check books out for three weeks and then renew three times for one week each, so you can have a book checked out for six weeks total.
