How long does skateboard wax last on an obstacle?

If I put a good amount of skateboard wax on a curb, how long will that wax stay good for grinding on that curb? Will I have to renew the wax every day? Week? Month? Thanks.|||If you're skating the same curb over and over and are applying wax it will eventually take to the curb and start making it turn a blackish color. Once this occurs you will not have to add wax to it every time you skate it. Just make sure this is a curb in a location that the business owners will not get upset as it can look altered once waxed a lot. I would guess after about a dozen times you should be pretty well off.
