Car insurance renewal in case of minor accident?

If there is a minor accident but no police case done and Insurance amount claimed from insurance compay was more then $1000, does this information automatically goes to dmv?

Now to renew insurance after six months if insurance company is changed, will the the new company have the information about the accident?|||No the DMV will not know about your accident, but the insurance company will know. Whenever you file a claim, the insurance companies put the information about the claim on a database. When you go to renew your policy or switch companies, the insurance company will run CLUE report on you, and that is how they find out about claims that you have had. Now some insurance company will not give you a higher rating if you were in an accident that wasn't fault and you filed it with your insurance company.|||No, usually your insurance company does not submit info to the DMV.

If you switch insurance companies, most insurance companies would still see your claim. Many insurance companies now use a database that will list any claims you have had with any of the other participating companies.
