If I renew a lease and it has the wrong renewal date and amount on it am I still legally bounded to it?
If my lease was really up on July 31 and the manager mailed me a renewal letter thinking it was up on May 31 and I signed it (at $30.00 more than the last lease) and started paying on it at that new rate then recived a "new" renewal letter the following month for July 31 (at a $50.00 more rate) do I have sign the new lease or hold to the one we first agreed on ?|||They can't change the terms of the other lease you signed. If they screwed up, too bad, so sad. They sound like idiots. It's a signed contract. They can raise your rent when that lease expires but they can't do it now.|||You are bounded to what you already sign. Just call them and tell them that you already sign the list on May 31,
